Cellular Networks

Cellular Networks are abstract interpretations of the basic building blocks of life: cells. My goal is to express the vitality of the cells through bright color, line work patterns that are heavily influenced by the indigenous African and Mesoamerican glyph art. My fixation with cellular biology arose from my experience as a breast cancer survivor.

These cellular creations sometimes exist singularly or are joined with other cells to form various organisms and microorganisms.
